So true. The thing about Hicks was that he used his routine to also talk about political and social reform. I mean what comedian would close their act talking about how we need more love in the world? He was great.

Bill Hicks is the greatest comedian ever. He was an artist. And funny as all hell, I find myself mentally quoting him at least once a day as I go through my day.

Unerrated today? Kathleen Madigan is hysterical and she’s not a household name. I love Eddie Izzard, but he won an Emmy so he’s properly rated. Joe Rogan’s standup is surprisingly great, but he’s also famous. But I think I’ll go with Mike Birbiglia.
