My guess? The Hippo girl at the end is Ammit and the mental hospital is the battleground in the mind of Marc/Steven.
Edit: The Hippo is Tawaret and we met her avatar earlier (she was the Native American-looking woman who was secretly helping Marc after the council)

My take is Marc/Stephen are now trapped in their mind (which looks like a mental hospital; there’s a MoonKnight comic run this is playing off of). The red sarcophagus they don’t open is Jake Locksley who has been opting in and doing shite without either of them knowing it. But because Marc is shot and dies/is dying in the waters around Alexander’s tomb, it opens a psychic connection to the other gods like Tawaret (the hippo).
FTR, Yatzil is the other avatar who helped Marc earlier. She represents the goddess Hathor (goddess of love and beauty)

Not a comic book guy, but love the MCU. I knew nothing of Moon Knoght before watching this, but it’s probably my favorite D+ MCU show so far

This show is fricking arse. Ive watched all four episodes twice. Ive tried like hell to like this but Im not impressed with anything. There's only two more episodes right? Ill finish it because I feel obligated since I want to keep up with the universe going into Dr Strange, but this show is making it hard.

So while the ride has been wild and trippy, I was pretty with it by this episode right up until the last 10 minutes. Now we’re back in Wonderland 
I presume the psych hospital is just in his mind because he’s “dying” and maybe the goddess at the end is there to help? Is the third guy in the other sarcophagus dangerous? I mean he’s been slaughtering dudes, but all evil henchman at least. Also wtf was the zombie Anubis priest thing disemboweling people?

Sort of but not fully; Ammit can’t speak to/through him because she’s been imprisoned. He’s more of a priest of Ammit.

I believe because Ammit was basically going to kill all of mankind so she was imprisoned and then hidden somewhere that presumably nobody could find her.
