That is an Indian name. Brother.
It has soo many LGBT undertones and black empowerment, it was beautiful.
Also this film will win best picture of the year.
Showing the true side of MJ, not the sinister pedo side the media painted him after he sucessfully own multiple artists cateologe he was set to take over the music industry.
Also who played latoyta was a straight hottie. Jessica Sula.
I didnt even rcgnoize Nia Long as michaels mother in the film.
This films going to win.
Im going to ask Chat GPT to simulate a Micheal Jackson Concert in Japan, I wanna see the Japan hotties going nuts.

Jaafar is an Arabic name and his father is Michael’s brother. Mom is Colombian. He’s not the slightest bit Indian. What a weird hill to die on

Michael, the John Travolta movie where he's an angel is an excellent movie.

Jaafar (or Jafar/Jaffar) is a masculine Arabic name, commonly used within Indian Muslim communities, meaning "rivulet," "stream," or "small river". It signifies abundance, purity, and flow. The name has deep roots in Islamic tradition and is often associated with generosity.
This came from Chat GPT.
Yes the origin is "Arabic" but now it is commonly used in "Indian" Communities.

Cool, so it’s an Arabic name that is now popular in India. Doesn’t change the fact that the actor is Michael’s nephew and not Indian. I have no idea what point you're trying to make. A name is just a name and the Jackson’s pick weird ones.
Michael called one of his kids blanket for crying out loud. Doesn't mean the dude is made of polyester
ETA: I’m just remembering that Jermaine has another kid named Jermajesty, which is just funny and I wanted to mention

One of the most underrated movies of the 90s. I'd rather rewatch that than watch a whitewashed MJ movie

Austin Powers cameo was nice

[quote]Fans seem to like it. The shill critics hate it because it didn't focus more on the negative stuff.[/quote
I haven't seen it yet but such a huge discrepancy in audience/critic ratings makes me think the average movie-goer would enjoy this.
If they largely kept negative stuff out that just makes the critics feel invalidated because they can't talk about it. Even if it was in the movie it would be so sensationalized, you couldn't take it as truth.

I thought this was the John Travolta angel movie.

Anyone that was at least a casual fan at some point in their life would really enjoy it because it reinforces all of your positive opinions. Anyone that dislikes him or his music probably wouldn’t because it does nothing to address very serious accusations.
If you couldn’t care less about MJ, you’d most likely find it enjoyable and like him more than you did before watching the movie. Probably why critics hate it.

Michael Jackson was a stone cold pedophile with scores of victims.
Those are facts,, and well-documented.
He also waa likely mentally ill, but that's just opinion.

I think it’s hard for people to understand how big Michael was. I mean Eddie Van Halen, and the height of Van Halen, did an uncredited unpaid guitar solo on Beat It because Michael asked.
Michael did the backup vocals on Do The Bartman and only wanted a role in an episode on the show as payment.
It’s peak pop culture.
