If you are a MJ conspiracy theorist, you'll want to sit this one out.
What about the movie-goer who is neither MJ conspiracy theorist nor MJ apologist?
Feels like the thread hasn't seen that perspective yet.

I don’t know why but I thought this was going to e about Travolta’s movie from 1996

As usual the shills are toting the company line. You can set your watch to it.

the world started rumors, filed fake lawsuits, made fake documentaries, and tried to ruin him only because he was the original person to speak up against Epstein and pedophilia.

This is about to be one of the biggest hits of the year. Which company?

hen why did he settle out of court on so many lawsuits?
And his insurance company settled without his consent, because the cost of legal fees and counsel were to be higher than the settlement amount

The same access media that gives you all of your opinions.

I think you meant positive reviews mean little.

Was it accurate?
Or did it seem like a propaganda piece intended to rebuild/refine his legacy?

I don't have an opinion. I'm going to see it in a couple of weeks. My opinion will be formed from that experience. Weird, I know.
Which is why I'm neither making false claims about what is in the negative reviews nor shitting on the positive opinions of people who've seen the movie.

You can generally be a virtue signaling douche, but your posts in this thread seem genuine
Despite the controversies, Michael Jackson was an icon we all agreed on throughout the 80's and 90's.
I was into primarily heavy metal throughout the 90's, but Dangerous was one of my favorite albums. Mike was just another thing, man

I guess you think people buy that but you’ve already shown your cards.

Insurance companies rarely do that.
"Negotiate with terrorists" leads to hundreds more opportunities of doing the same thing.

I rode a train in Germany in the late 1980’s and shared a compartment with a German family. The pre-teen granddaughter was reading a tabloid type of magazine about Michael Jackson. I remember looking at the grandfather and thinking “suck it, Nazi.”

Insurance companies rarely do that.
But the ultra rich have vastly different calculations than you or I.
If I sue an Elon Musk for, say 10k. He has to figure if the cost of just paying that outweighs the cost of litigating. . .and potentially spawning future lawsuits
And Lloyd's isn't a normal insurance company, and they were on the hook for the legal bills

Every insurance company is on the hook for legal bills.
That is how liability protection works.
Lloyd's does not settle frivolous lawsuits to make them go away.
Mediating outside of court typically includes evidence not favorable to the defendant.
I write for Lloyds.
