If you've seen the movie The American with George Clooney the prostitute he bangs is her daughter Violante Placido. And she has some of the greatest fun bags on the silver screen.

Yeah, I didn't really want to go there. Even by Hollywood standards of that era, that was pretty out of whack to have a 12 yr. old girl doing nude scenes for the sake of a storyline.

Jennifer Connelly was 14 in “Once Upon a Time in America”, if you haven’t seen it, you’ll be shocked with what pedo-wood got away with.
Edit: 14 when the movie was released, filmed when she was 12 - 13. How no one was indicted for child endangerment is beyond me.

Her birthday is Sept 9, 1965. Blame it on Rio was released in Feb 1984 so she likely 17 when the movie was filmed

Every source I've checked states she was 17 when she made that movie and it required judicial permission for her to appear topless in it, and that includes Wiki and several others.
The movie came out in 84 but was filmed earlier than that is how I imagine all that came about as far as the legal wranglings for her to do her role.

Conflicting reports in articles I’ve read but the most detailed said she had recently graduated HS but was 17 at the start of filming so she had to have permission from parents to do the film. The filmmakers then got a court to give permission for her full frontal scenes. Hollywood and the courts, 2 of the most disgusting institutions on earth.
