Hey....this actor must have trained for at least a week or two. Did you not see those sweet nunchuck skills.

Also why not just let the guy speak with his native accent if his American accent is this bad? It doesn't affect the character at all if he is British.

Can we all agree that we think Punisher will rule them all Jon Bernthal completely owned that role.

Kingpin I thought was a well done Villain. As a throwaway I liked the scene in DD2 where he was lifting weights. Although he's portrayed as overweight he is supposed to be at the upper limits of human strength.

I've only watched two episodes so far but i'm intrigued going forward.

and Luke Cage was the worst without a doubt. I can tell already that Iron Fist will be better than Luke Cage.

Luke Cage and Punisher need to be secondary characters. They don't need their own show. These Netflix shoes need to have 2 heroes in them, each with their own arc in the show, and then the bad guy. Daredevil 2 and JJ did that perfectly.

Agreed. I like the idea someone posted of Heroes for Hire instead of separate Season 2s for either LC or IF. Presumably for cost reasons they are going to be limiting the Marvel shows to 2 per year, might as well do multiple hero shows to keep fans of specific heroes interested all the time instead of 2-3 years between seasons of individual hero shows.

First 4 episodes and I hate how Joy is back and forth in how she treats Danny

I don't get it, Luke Cage had some bad episodes and Diamondback was too over the top but Iron Fist feels like a CBS Superhero show with a lower budget. Every single thing feels dumbed down and safe compared to the other 3 Netflix shows. I don't quite know how to describe it but it just feels less intense.

Unless the last 5 episodes are epic this would be last among the Netflix shows to me.

Finished second episode and so far I like it. I am glad he busted out of the psych ward that was getting old. Also thought maybe he was just going to be very skilled at martial arts and obviously that is not the case.

So far so good, now all they need is a hot chick!

Thought it started out a little boring but kept watching. Started picking up at episode 7 so I'm liking it more now. Finished 8 last night.

Finished the season. I enjoyed it and didn't have a feeling of having to push through the final episodes like I did with LC and JJ.

I like all of the story spinning the villains/side characters do to try and use Danny, even to the very end.

frick Harold. Seems like Joy might follow some of the feelings she had in the comics.

Just watched episode 4 where he has the fight in the hall against the hatchets. It in no way compared to DareDevils two fights he had in the hall/stairs. at the end of the Daredevil fights, I was thoroughly impressed. After the Iron Fist fight, I was wondering what they did to make it look so boring and not dangerous. I think the slow mo stuff makes it feel less real. this isn't the matrix.

I literally got antsy when I saw Danny standing in that hall about to go through all those guys, then he did, and I felt severely disappointed. outside of the hatchet to the iron fist, it sucked.

I think there are 2 problems. First he's using the style of fighting where you use your enemies momentum against him, it's passive, not aggressive. Second, Finn Jones is too stiff to be believable as martial arts masters. I'm not saying he can't fight, but martial arts is kind of like the ballet of fighting (and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible). I will say that they start figuring out how to use him better in a fight scene about half way through the season. The fights still never approach DD awesomeness, but they stop being boring.

I watched the first episode last night and that's feeling I got during those first few fights

I thought the first episode was decent, although Danny Rand is a pretty big idiot, which from what I've read doesn't really stop.

Watched episode 1 last night on a whim. It's not bad. A lot of the character interaction seems forced and awkward. I hope to see the Asian chick naked at some point. She's hot.

The critics are panning it because they didn't cast an Asian.

Its not amazing it's a lot better than Luke Cage.

This really feels like the Thor of the Netflix shows. Rushed to get everyone up to date for the Defenders. Doesn't go into the mythology enough.

I'm three episodes in and I don't see much to hate about it so far. It's not Daredevil good but its entertaining enough.

i really do not get the fanboy "marval comic universe versus DC Universe" argument i mean if you give a shite about a movie universe you probably aren't getting laid
