Yeah, it was a fun readthrough

I have some other stuff from back then as well, like the Movie Board logo thread, Movie Board banner thread and my 2000's best of the decade tournament threads (and yes, people still bitched about the votes even back then lol )

Elizabeth Olsen

I knew she was a good actress when I saw her in that film with Josh Brolin.

I had this same thought earlier today.

So Wanda runs off again to have an affair with Todd from Breaking Bad?

So far, it’s just okay. Good acting and production value as it does feel like it takes place in the late 70s, but incredibly slow paced.

I’ll tune in for the new episode this week though.

I'd watch it if it had Robots.

Hulu version is better. Biel looks like Candy but with banging body. Olsen is seductive/hot housewife with food. Fat Matt Damon looks like Jerry Falwell.

This looks like the same plot as "Pam" by Renee Zellwiger?

Watched episode 3 last night.

Final scene was definitely pretty creepy. I didn't know the story beforehand so I didn't know who was going to get killed. Still don't I guess. But when she came in and the camera was floor level and when it showed the axe, I was like damn this is good stuff. From the time she showed up at the house my heart was racing a bit.

Elizabeth Olsen is actually a really good actress

Every guy in this show is punching way above their weight...to the point of suspension of suspension of disbelief.

Episode 1 was a boring chore talking choir practice for an hour like a G-rated Lifetime movie. Nothing happens.

You can literally skip the snaillike plot setup of Episode 1 and read the one sentence synopsis before Episode 2...which is a leap of faith to get to Episode 3. True crime that thinks the too true mundane activities of people's daily lives is interesting.

New episode aired last night.

I think I fell asleep with like 10 minutes left so I didn't see the end.

I was wondering if they were going to show the murder. They did a good job of making it pretty creepy without showing her get whacked over and over.

Nice Friday night Lights Buddy Garrity sighting. He's pretty much a perfect clueless small town country boy sheriff.

I started watching this and really like it so far. I figured I would know the story based off some comments on how it has been done a lot already but nothing is coming to me. I guess it will just keep it interesting for me since I don’t know what happened.

Anybody watch last night?

Really good episode imo.

Elizabeth Olsen is about to start getting some big time roles after this, she's really showing off her acting range.

Feel bad for her husband, he's a good dude in a terrible spot. Wife has cheated on him and he stuck with her and now he pretty much knows she killed Betty.

What is it about this murder that multipl shows were made about it?

Wasn’t Jessica Beal in one not too long ago.
