I'm up to to the end of season 3 now in my LOST-WATCH-A-Thon. I still have Greatest Hits and Through the Looking Glass to go before starting season 4. Things are starting to make a lot more sense in terms of understanding season 6, but obviously a lot of context for the time warps, etc... will come in the next two seasons. It was cool to see Jacob really mentioned by name for the first time, although I haven't seen him appear in person yet.
Was cool seeing a Young Ben Linus and Uncle Rico Linus going to the island for the first time and meeting Richard. Something seems fishy about Richard. Since he works for Jacob as we saw in Ab Aterno it would seem he does everything on the up and up, but he made it so the bus would run over Juliettes ex-husband, he led the purge of Dharma village by gassing everyone. Just seems inconsistent, but I'm sure more may be explained about that coming up.

For the record, I had nothing to do with it.

Hey guys, what's going on? Oh, the thread has gone to shite already? I guess I'll get back to my Big Gulp. Well, see ya later.

quote:I like that theory. If these differences are definitely intended, I could see it playing out that way or the multiple alternate side-flashes. There really isn't anything yet to come down strongly either way.
I interpreted it this way. The sideways flash is volatile, dynamic, very non-linear, the dreaded Butterfly Effect (thanks Hot Tub Time Machine ). That "reality" is in constant flux, and events that happen on the island are having a direct causal relationship with events in the ATL (that's Alternate Time Line, not Hotlanta). Hence, why Des is there, then he isnt, he's wearing a ring, now he's not. Since Des is special and these time jumps have a very different effect on him, compared to everyone else, I think that everyone in the ATL perceives his presence quite differently.

Not only is Desmond actually Wallace,
I figured that out a long time ago and everyone on this board laughed at me. It really hurt my feewings, by the way. Desmond is 108.

Boy the Wallace bit never really gets old.

I am waiting for an episode that is just constant "WTF". Not sure this episode will be, but I think (hope) every episode after that is going to keep everyone in a state of shock.

To all the people here who complain about improbable or unworkable theories being posted...you should check out some of the theories posted on sites dedicated to LOST. The stuff posted on the M/TV Board threads is pretty tame in comparison.

Ehhh, it should pick up once the episode airs. I think the natives are getting restless, so to speak. We've been pent up all week with no LOST, we have a break next week, people are getting grumpy. It's understandable.

After the comments about Desmond's wedding ring and the possibility that the actor just forgot to take off his ring, I checked to see if he is married in real life. He is, and has a son named.................................................................Esau
I did the exact same thing.

Today's date is 4/20. I wonder if we will see a 420 reference in tonight's episode.
BOOK IT!

I can't wait until we find out MIB's true identity. Been wondering whether it's anyone we already know.

And Locke will have developed testicular cancer and will now get around by bouncing on his balls.
