Jack is back

only his perspective

To the Jackers, answer this question:
Why did Desmond, need to show all of them something?
I would buy that it was Desmond's perspective before I would buy that it was Jack's. Especially when you consider Penelope was there.

I think it's painfully obvious that everyone at the church would look how they look in the flash-sideways. It makes the most sense. You're not going to make anyone look older than they were in flash-sideways. Was Aaron supposed to grow from a baby that was just born into a three year old or 30 year old at the drop of a hat? The same people who are complaining that he wasn't older would be freaking out. Book it. And why would they want to show Ji Yeon if she had not even been born yet in the flash-sideways.
All much ado about nothing.

TO get everyone off the raging debate for a second.
Was I the only one that thought Ben might stab Hurley and grab the bottle of water to try and steal control of the island?
Not that I was thinking he was going to do it, but I did get a little nervous with him standing so close.
Yes, you can argue he wasn't a candidate but once the cork was taken out and put back in place, all of Jacobs rules were gone.
Made me a touch nervous with Jack paying no attention to Ben.

look i completely understand what you're saying. i'm going to call it the total recall angle
i think it was the same as about 95% of seasons 3-6: a bunch of shite they added just to entertain the audience
i mean the fact that we're having this argument is major proof that the writing wasn't exactly air tight

Agreed, not to be repetitive but this is how they ended the show for Kimmel's audience. If showing the plane wreckage was important to the show I think they would have shown this to the audience.

Someone earlier said that Jack met Nadia. I don't remember this. I don't think Jack ever saw Nadia.
Technically they never spend any screen time together. That said, Sayid and her get married and are living in LA for like 10 months or something before she gets killed. I suppose it is possible that Jack never met Nadia but it just seems unlikely since I believe they attended Christian Sheppard funeral.

well then we get into the whole, "what is the flash sideways" questions

the flash sideways wasn't real. the island was real

I could so see Ben grabbing the water and taking off running.
However, when you think about it, Ben just wanted to be close to Jacob, not become Jacob. So, he got to become close to Hurley.

Desmond never knew Boone or Shannon.
And Penny brings up a good point. Half the cast never knew Penny, but Jack did. Even more evidence that it's Jack's perspective.
