Here is what I am having trouble with: it appears that some of the lives in this alternate timeline are better than the original. So is the intent to go back to the original or keep the alternate?
- Jack has a son and is a good father = better
- Sawyer is a cop (not a shitbag) but still has vengeance in his heart and hasn't found true love = close call but still could find Julliette so I say better
- Desmond has Widmore's approval and is very successful and just found Penny = better
- Sun and Jin are much happier together than they were in the original = better
- Locke has come to accept the fact that he is paralyzed and has also found love = better
- Claire hasn't had Aaron yet but still has the option to keep him = possibly better
- Hurley is the "luckiest man alive" and just found Libbby = better
The only ones I'm struggling with are Kate and Charlie. Thoughts?
Also Libby's tits were fantastic during the picnic scene

Sayid isn't any better off IMO.
Plus with Jin and Sun there's the whole "My father tried to kill you, but he put a hole in my preggers belly instead" ordeal going on

after 6 seasons and over a hundred episodes Lost actually answered a question

Haven't read the thread or watched the episode yet, but was it good? Mediocre? Great?
Just kinda wondering what to expect when I get home this afternoon and put it on..

Forgot about him. That's another tossup. He's not romantically involved with Nadia but at least she's alive.

Locke isn't much better off now after Desmond hit him but its not that hard for him to be better off cause he's dead

well shite
I fricking read this assbag theory that Jacob and MIB are the 2 personalities of one person
that boy in the jungle tonite had distinctly dark hair (I guess it could've been shadows) - they had to know how it looked on film
I sure hope that's not how this plays out
so is this split personality also able to split into two people becuase we clearly see MIB and Jacob talking to each other. I find this hard to believe. If jacob was just an altered personality of MIB then why would he want to kill jacob it would be like killing himself in a way. so yeah who ever came up with that theory is crazy.

She's married to his brother in the sideways.

where they romantically invloved in season one when we saw him and her in flash backs.

its the same freaking character! its not a split personality... it was the lighting that made his hair look darker than it really was.... MIB had the same reaction to the kid this time as he did the first time... its obviously one of two people but not both...
It could be jacob as a kid, or it could be MIB as a kid but it isn't both.
that being said, i think i will go with Jacob... obviously MIB and jacob have problems and i think this is just one more instance in which Jacob is sort of teasing MIB.

In some movies, they say that if one personality kills off all the others, the remaining one is the permanent personality. Not saying I buy this shite, but I'm guessing that was the thought process of whoever proposed this.

This is what I was thinking the entire time. The child did look older, but that's probably just my rusty memory. Then again, at that age, kids can grow like 8 inches in a month.

Cokes, I wouldn't go as far as EPIC. I think that should be reserved for Ab Aeterno/Constant type episodes. It was a good episode with one very big question answered. I wouldn't even think of calling it epic. Not bad, just not mind blowing.

In my opinion, tt was similar to last weeks episode, in content and in rating.

It already aired. If they didn't watch it, they shouldn't be on the thread.
