No it’s fact and let me tell you what you and that other clown last night are trying to do. You’re trying to take anyone who questioned anything so far and throw them into a mix with a label you created but here’s the problem, a lot of you guys complained about that first trailer so you’re in the same group. It’s a fail, you can try it, I know you can’t help yourself but this little game is gonna fail.

Will they cover her zippertits up with makeup or armor? And will she cry misogyny when a 210 pound man slaps the frankendong off of her in the middle of a battle?

I really thought we had a few weeks before they fully denied what they have been saying.

No matter what movie or thing. You would have celebrated a transgender or DEI hire no matter what was happening. This is why no one will ever take you seriously.

Wait, you guys are taking a victory lap because she's playing another dude, just not Achilles?

Then you still don't understand the point.

Who's taking a victory lap? It's simply pointing out that people were making a big deal about something that was never confirmed. A random account starts a rumor and it just gets blown out of proportion

This thread is the very definition of a victory lap.

"See! She's not playing Achilles!"

Ellen Page shouldn't be near any Greek warrior role. It is stunt casting not real casting. That's the point.

Who’s they? Oh right it’s the straw man stew you created to throw everyone you don’t like into.

Should be playing a Simone.

Page will be playing the role of Sinon, a Greek warrior who is Odysseus's cousin.
Must have had to bust the special effects budget on this.

I remember when he made a post saying TLJ was well received outside the internet world. Meanwhile Interstellar was the divisive one between the two

He just makes shite up for the sake of being a contrarian sometimes

I will say this board is entertaining as it’s usually the same 10-15 posters arguing back and forth on everything. Certain predicable characters on every long thread

Well it’s a pattern with some and with him he’s just full of it all the time. But these straw man narratives, misrepresenting things people say, conflating things people say, it’s always the same little group of 4-5 posters. Not a one of them can argue on the merits so they use dishonest tactics which drags everything out while they blame whoever they’re attacking for it. In a normal discussion there’s a point, a counter, find the facts, if there’s more to it context is given then there’s some resolution or even better a more expansive dive into the world in question. That has never once happened with the poster you mentioned or those like him.
