Politards are furiously going back to delete old posts. Looks like one of them was too late.
I'm not defending Page or the casting, I just hate the assholes who have taken over this place and hijack almost every thread. You guys were wrong, own up to it. Now on to the Helen rumor

She's playing a man. This isn't better than the "rumor." It's the same.

Not a rumor.

Or people who love and care about these stories because of their cultural impact. The Odyssey being the quintessential hero's journey story. Not everyone is as vapid or as empty as useful idiots are but what’s telling is your need to be parasitic to things you don’t care about. Thats such a sinister pattern.

As usual libs are so far off the mark. Trying to hold the traditional gender line is not "being obsessed with gender." This argument is akin to the "you don't like homosexuals therefore you must secretly be one," line. It's weak. Do better.

Ellen Page is so obsessed with gender she got surgery to try and change it, then wants to force other people to adhere to her gender obsessed mental fantasy. That's obsession.

How much Greek mythology have you read? A girl playing a guy is the least of it. There's gay stuff, gods changing between men and women because they can't figure out which form they like best, rape, beastiality, incest. All the stories we love and care about. But Ellen Page and a black girl in a movie, that's where we draw the line!

That’s a defection, Helen isn’t a god and he removed the gods. Save you tactics and quit pretending this is about anything other than what it’s really about.

No but who was her father and how was she born? Just curious about your knowledge of these stories you love and care about. I'll give you time to look it up.

Like I said, you can save the tactics. Your excuses for the changes are nonsensical and I gave an example that brings down your house of cards. Your logic was busted, the end

He’s attempting to use a narrative from the Cypria where Helen is hatched from a goose egg but that’s nowhere in the Homeric stories. He was asking the question to figure out if he could pass off the lie you nitwit.

No, she's not any such thing. It's retarded for a 5'1" skinny girl to play any male warrior role.

true, but weren't half of the Greek forces made up of femboy legions?

Ellen Page shouldn't be near any Greek warrior role. It is stunt casting not real casting. That's the point.

Should Matt Damon?
