Actually Snyder fans did review bomb any DC movie not made by him. Wasn’t as effective as the others but it did happen

It’s 80%+ audience score. Fairly ineffective review bomb.

I’m a pretty big nerd about most of this and Snyder fans going after this doesn’t ring much of a bell. I’m sure it happened but didn’t have that much of an impression.

FTR, I think Snyder Cut JL was a very decent film.

Sure, why not? More likely to be “boomers,” you know? Why does it matter? It’s an obvious move to protect “some” movies and not integrity of anything. Did they stop the bullshite positive reviews for Black Panther?

it matters because people who buy their tickets online can hate a bad movie too.

it seems relevant if you’re going to call the verification process a clear attempt to protect the movie from legitimate bad reviews.

Oh sure it was not effective but I do remember hearing about it. Snyder fanboys can be something else

To be fair I think it was mainly just IMDB

I wonder if they think this makes the movie less shitty?

Says the person making a comment about people commenting. You have even less reason since you think it is silly for grown men. I guess that make you a silly person obsessed by people with obsessions.

. It’s like when the Cleopatra show got review bombed and many here tried to deny it despite the fact that the show on its first day of release had more reviews than the last season Stranger Things. It’s entirely possible for a show or movie to be dogshit while also not wanting it to be review bombed

Wow. Pot meet kettle. You know liberals would be 10x worse if they made a movie or show about a black character and had a white person play the part. We would never hear the end of it.

That list is headcanon for the NPC crowd. 2 of those movies were well received (Black Panther, The Suicide Squad) and the rest were objectively bad to horrific.

Never even heard of The Promise. But thank folks who tune into The Young Turks for that review bombing.

The Eternals. This article can't even get out of its own way!

"The Eternals is arguably the worst MCU movie to date, even without the review bombing, but yet, it was the victim of a litany of review bombing due to the character Phastos, being the first ever openly gay superhero in the MCU."

The actors honestly claimed this movie was going to SAVE LIVES, it was so important!

Not liking a bad movie because...it's a bad movie. How horrible!

I mean, it would simply never ever get made in the first place

As usual, they can't face reality and have to continually cower in the darkness behind the scenes and manipulate the narrative. The social justice movement is led by cowards.

Ignore the fact that I'm a grown man and going to see this movie about a young teenage Mermaid (she's 16) falling in love with a prince would be suspicious as hell.

Every YouTuber could give this movie 5 stars, I'm not watching. I'll watch a ton of animated flicks - Spiderman, Minions, Incredibles... but good grief, not everyone is like you.

Hope your Galactic Starcruiser reservation gets made though.

It’s so sad to see them scrambling to tinker with all of these little online metrics when at the end of the day, they can’t change the fact that the movie just isn’t good and people know it. It will not be remembered.

Y'all are so sad.

The movie set a record at the box office as the 5th largest Memorial Day opening ever.

It has a 95% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes with 5K+ reviews.

Get over it. It's a solid flick.

So when it ends up losing somewhere in the neighborhood of $150 million, what's gonna be your excuse?

I don't blame IDMB. The site's credibility is being attacked by a bunch of dumba$$es reviewing a movie they've never seen or plan to see.

He said it's a solid flick. He didn't say he invested in the project. Who gives a $hit if it loses money?
