I feel bad for people that can’t enjoy television anymore because they are so concerned how many minorities are in the show or if they dare make fun of the white man.

Don Draper still has it.

I don’t like those people either but S3 is another level. It’s so in your face
Half the cast is now gay and Reese Weatherspoon just turns gay on a dime

I watched both seasons. It's as woke as you would expect. But honestly, it's a guilty pleasure watch for me. I enjoyed the show and thought the first season play off of the Matt Laur controversy was really done well. I thought it was some of Steve Carrell's best work. I also like Billy Crudup in it. Reese is Reese, Aniston is Aniston. I thought it was really funny how much back stabbing goes on behind the scenes of these network morning and daytime shows.
I've really enjoyed it. Of course it's the level of woke you'd expect, but it is modeled after The Today Show and it's exactly like you'd expect a network news department to be. They are woke. But some people really believe it (Laura, Bradley's girlfriend), some people only really care about how they look reporting it (Alex, Aniston's character), and some people only care how it drives the ratings and gives them more power (Cory, president of the news division). Some of them struggle with lines between their career and family. It's not woke for wokeness sake. It's a good commentary on our current media.

Put me in the camp that views this as a show that is making fun of everyone.
There is not a single likable or redeemable main character in this show (except maybe Mia?) and that's what makes me really like this show.

I admit, I have really grown to love both Cory and Stella. I find them hilarious as a team. Love, love their scenes.

I actually like Cory. His only agenda is to make money and keep the network going.

His ridiculous metaphors and god-complex piss me off, but the character was obviously written for the viewers to feel that and Crudup does a fantastic job of bringing that to life.
In this last episode, watching him descend into madness when he learns UBA is selling everything off is, for me, the best sequence of the entire series.

There are literally two characters in a relationship that are. No where near half the cast.

The worst was Anniston on her death bed battling COVID

Season 3 finale was kinda lame.
I have a hard time believing an Elon Musk type would go down that easily, especially considering everything he had done to that point in the season.
ETA: I also found it hilarious that Apple made it very clear that Bradley and Alex were texting using something other than the iPhone text app because they couldn't show that Paul was surveilling the conversation on their own app. I get why Apple brass made sure that was the case, but it makes no sense story-wise considering in that same episode, Alex is texting Paul using the iPhone app.
