Easily the most manly film ever made.

Ok, I'll agree followed closely by Die Hard and Bruce Willis. Walking barefoot on that broken glass was manly also.

Jesse the body in the chopper chewing tobacco. One of the most memorable scenes of the movie.

If you have the time, I highly recommend the Red Letter Media Re:View for it.

"Buncha slack-jawed phaggots"

Mack mourning Blaine and vowing revenge was awesome. Granted, it didn't work out to well for Mack.

Like Odysseus, who unlike Achilles, Heracles, and Ajax, Odysseus often had to get out of situations with his intellect, rather than with sword and shield.

And Predator is like others have said before me, a masterpiece.

First Arnold movie I ever saw was Commando when I was 7 or 8. I was blown away how badass that movie was. Then I saw Predator a couple years later. Talk about upping the ante. Perfect blend of action, sci/fi, and horror. I always loved that grenade launcher Pancho had... that shite looked fun as hell to shoot ?? Then if course Arnold went Indian style with the bow and the spears covered in mud. So much win.

1989 was probably the best year of my movie watched life as I saw Die Hard, Aliens, Predator, and the Abyss in consecutive weeks. I dont think there has been a better run to this day

Then it becomes a sci fi slasher film. 80s films like this, RoboCop, Termintor, are perfect 100% films that don't need remakes.

Robocop should have stopped with 2
Predator should have stopped with 2
Terminator should have stopped with 2
The Alien franchise should have stopped with 2

Four great movies, with decent (Predator), pretty good (Robocop), or absolutely outstanding sequels (Terminator and Alien(s)), that should have stopped with their second movies each.

I'm curious if anyone has read any of the Dark Horse comics for them. I read the Robocop vs Terminator series when I was a kid, absolutely loved it.

It's peak Arnold who in my mind, completely embodies the pinnacle of the American Dream.

Came over here with a few hundred bucks and started out laying bricks and pumping iron in Santa Monica. Only to go on and became the F-ing governer of California after being one of the biggest movie stars of all time.

Dude is such a badass and I love him. Always loved that part of Michael Lewis' book Boomerang where he spent time with him in Santa Monica and talked about his magical aura and how he literally would just run red lights on his bike knowing he would never be struck by a car.

I'd amend the consitution for Ahnald.

We got robbed of the Billy vs. Predator fight on top of that log bridge, but perhaps that's because it wasn't much of a fight.

They made up for it with Predators at least. When the Yakuza stands his ground with a Hatori Hanzo (jk but thats what it is in my mind, ha ha) and fights the Predator Samurai Style. Easily the most bad arse part of that movie.....Maybe the only good part, really.

Billy might be the most under utilized characters of all time. Would love a prequel or backstory with him and the others.

Filming was pretty rough. Apparently he wanted to fight everyone and even Arnold was scared of him. If you go back and look at the movie, the guys are usually standing cock legged like Captain Morgan. The terrain was so hilly and uneven there were few flat places to stand. Just added to the grit of the film.

Seriously everything about this movie is perfect.

Im also convinved the Chief of Police in Stranger Things (Jim Hopper) Got his name from this movie.

Predator is Great.
Predator 2 is underrated.

Predator 3 should've found a way to bring Glover and Arnold together somehow. Glover was a resourceful arse cop to fight and kill that thing.

2018's The Predator started off well, it went way off the rails.

I actually went into the mexican mountain jungle near where they filled the 1987 one. Its a tourist attraction zip line adventure outside of puerto vallarta
