One of the greatest action films ever. Feel bad for my friends who won’t watch it because they think it’s a cheesy B level movie. fricking losers

I watched this last week with my 5 year old daughter. That's right, my 5 year old daughter. She thought it was awesome.

As great an action movie it is for its time (and today), the stink of the Predator movies that followed is just as hard to forget.

Is there any other movie made where 2 of the actors became governors of states?

One of my favorites. Honest Trailer has it right.

I think it’s crazy how the sequels water down the “prized” character.
Predator: Arnold
Predator 2: Danny Glover
Predators: Adrien Brody
The Predator: An autistic 8 year old
Predator 2022: A hamster? Kitten perhaps?

I’ve only seen predator 2 a couple of times. While I did enjoy it, it isn’t in the same ballpark as the original. I have not seen any of the others, but only assume they are garbage.

I never thought Hawkins fit in with the other guys. Just read where the guy that plays him is one of the screenwriters from Predator and over a dozen more action movies.

Considered one of the pioneer screenwriters of the action genre, Black made his mark with his Lethal Weapon (1987) screenplay. He also collaborated on the story of the sequel, Lethal Weapon 2 (1989). Each successive script he turned in had a higher price attached it, from The Last Boy Scout (1991) to The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996), and in between a re-write on the McTiernan/Schwarzenegger Last Action Hero (1993) script.
Shane Black IMDb

Mac dry shaving is one of the manliest scenes in film.

ETA: When I was in high sshool in the 70's, if we weren't clean shaven, our principal used to make us stand in front of the mirror in his office bathroom, and shave like that.

Predator 2 was badass if you don’t compare it to the first one.

He also did Iron Man 3 and The Predator so his record is not exactly perfect

I’m a fan of Predator 2. But it’s in a different league than the GOAT original.

Not only were the action and one liners awesome but so was the soundtrack/theme...can't go wrong with Little Richard. Still remember my dad watched this for the first time and he kept going "wth is it"....then finally seeing the Predator the 1st time being like "oh shite"

Billy might be the most under utilized characters of all time. Would love a prequel or backstory with him and the others.

Love predator.
It was shown at movie tavern a couple years ago so I brought my 13 yr old son to be introduced to the awesomeness on the big screen.

Predator 2 is great just because Gary Busey.. haha..

Billy had that Native American sixth sense. He probably should have had better results vs the predator than Dutch. But Dutch did fall into a bit of luck as well as skill and ability.

My dad took me to see Predator in the theater when I was 11. One of my favorite movies ever.

I stay away from the word "cuck" because it's stupid and overused. But when you put those cast photos side by side, the only word that comes to mind is cuck.

Good job.
