Leaked Episode IX character photos

I really hope JJ can pull this thing together after TLJ. I still like Rey and Poe as characters and maybe Finn can still do something useful.

I don't like Boyega as an actor, but Finn had some really good potential as a great character. I expected him to have an arc similar to Kyle Katarn, maybe not become such a powerful Jedi but at least be force sensitive and become a jedi in some sense. Now he is just a joke of a shitty character shoved off with the worst character. He couldn't even have a self sacrifice moment without Rose fricking it up.

I was a fan of Poe in the first film, thought he was interesting but then the Yo Mama jokes and girl power neutered him in the second.

I hate Rey and always have.

At this point, it is hard to know if any of the characters are good or bad because half of their screen time was in Last Jedi. Kylo was about the only bright spot in both movies because of the depth of the character.

Q kind of reminds me of the space Herpe from Ice Pirates.

Unless episode 9 introduces some grand external force to unite Rey and Kylo (which I think, at this point, is necessary), then from a plot perspective there is no reason to care about Episode 9 at all.

I really don't think they ever had a plan. This movie series seems just like t.v. series where they just kind of move forward with each new installment and when it stops making tons of money they try to tie everything together in one final money grab (final episode). i bet the final installment is terrible, and i bet we see it pretty soon. My guess is after this next movie. Its funny because Lucas actually did a decent job with III and they are fine (Rogue One and Solo) when they do a stand alone that naturally must have an arc and conclusion.

JJ did, and handed off his drafts to Johnson and Kennedy, but they just proceeded to shred them. The big problem was not making JJ the Kevin Fiege of Star Wars. I just wish JJ would get out of directing which he is mediocre at and solely be a producer, of which I think he’s extremely gifted.

They're also making a bunch of new aliens, which is stupid given how rich the star wars universe was with aliens already.


Disney really really wants to make this THEIR property. The problem is that I doubt it will ever achieve the cult status the originals did. This is just going to become space adventure movie show #X.

I can already feel it. Very few people at Disney seem interested in fan input. I guess that just highlights the difference between Kathleen Kennedy and Kevin Feige.
