I feel that Finn would have been a better character if the other finalists were cast instead (Jesse Plemons, Michael B. Jordan). Hell, Rose would have been better if her finalists played her too (Gina Rodriquez, Tatiana Maslany)

I was perfectly fine with the actors chosen to play the characters. I just don't think Rian Johnson gave them anything worth a damn to do in Episode 8.

Btw, has anyone noticed how not a single jedi has used a lightsaber in any of the disney movies? Not one single JEDI.
Kylo is not a jedi, Rey is not a jedi.
Finn used a lightsaber multiple times and he is storm trooper sanitation guy who provides comic relief.

I haven't kept up with IX stuff since the disaster of VIII. Are they really doing this? TFA only started looking good when TLJ came out. Everything looks good compared to TLJ even the Prequels. As a fan you are like damn we complained about the prequels but never knew how bad it could really get.

I think JJ and Hamil are collecting checks at this point. They know it is trash but the Disney money is just too good.
