Disney is 100% corporate-driven. Good ideas are always going to take a back seat to cold marketing. This is all their "diversity" bullshite is. International marketing. It's the same reason they conjured a female character for The Hobbit and called it "girl power."
But they aren't creative enough to bolster it with a good story, so they do the only thing they know how to do - whine about stupid shite.

That was a great skit. I rather they continue to go with the SJW theme and complete wreck this trilogy. So Disney finally has no choice but to abandon these people. Hopefully we can get this erased from canon and pretend it never happened.
Kinda like how Ghostbusters is basically just pretending they never did that new one.

Exactly correct. Also the reason for the underlying SJW agenda. Disney(all Corps) are pandering to the population center markets. The East/West Coast.
