I did too. Not because it was funny, though.

FYI

1) $57,000,000 (Th) Force Awakens
2) $50,013,859 (Th) Revenge of the Sith
3) $45,000,000 (Th) Last Jedi
4) $40,840,267 (Th) Phantom Menace
5) $30,141,471 (Th) Attack of the Clones
6) $29,000,000 (Th) Rogue One

It may not have done better than the Phantom Menace. Depending on inflation since '99, and 1,100 more theater showings?

It literally wouldn’t matter if the entire film was Rian Johnson flipping off the camera. Star Wars has that kind of following. The ticket sales were because of Star Wars’ cultural status, not anything to do with Rian Johnson.

This movie will finish in the top 5 all time. If it doesn't hit $2billion, it will come very close.

If it was so SJW then why did fricking CNN give it a bad review?

The conspiracy theories surrounding Disney the SJW movement are hilarious

I mean, TFA was the first Star Wars movie in 11 years and something NOBODY thought we'd ever get. TLJ is the third Star Wars movie in this new canon, so it's understandable if TLJ doesn't perform as well.

Yeah this is the answer and it would be stupid to blame it on the poor reception of the film. Before last night, it was only the critic ratings out and it is still 93%+.

It’s going to get worse too because the repeat viewings won’t be happening. I know I have no desire to see it again. I went to the theater and saw TFA 3 times.
