When it’s incredibly low quality and relies on lol we triggered people then yes. Like I said before South Park did this subject years ago and did it way better. It shows the difference between writers who are actually good at what they do and are able to look at things with nuance as opposed to something that’s just cringey forced we own the libs jokes. Kind of like the difference between Scary Movie and all those shitty spoof movies that came out 20 years ago

Comedy doesn't have to be nuanced in order for it to be funny or successful. I don't know where this idea came from that things have to be nuanced in order for them to be good, but that is 100% not true.

I'm just not sure they even intended for this to be some high-quality big-screen release. Boring said he decided to throw it together super quick before he left the country to work on more ambitious products. They tried to go for some actual actors but nobody would touch it so they used their own people. That is not to say he was downplaying it because that is not how I took his comments. I am expecting straight-to-video quality with some good laughs with comedy Hollywood refused to do these days. I am looking forward to it for what it is.

Trailer looks terrible. As someone else said, South Park already did this, and they actually know how to write comedy.

It looks awful. Admittedly I’m not a fan of any of their podcasts or hosts.
I did enjoy Run Hide Fight. And even though I don’t like Matt Walsh and disagree with him on all but a few issues, I watched What is a Woman and thought it was incredibly well made. My wife and I watched it together.
But this just looks terrible.

This thread almost made me not want to watch it, but I did. I thought it was okay. It had funny moments. I was interested in how they would end it. I liked it, but I don't think I'd watch it again.
