Hal Jordan AND John Stewart? Sounds like an awesome start. As long as they get the John Stewart casting right.

All the bitchy moaners and groaners can stuff it.

Age isn’t his problem. Stupidity is.

Perfect casting. Chandler has been elevating everything that he's been in lately.

His daughter was great as Chrissie Hynde in that Sex Pistols series. Wouldn't mind her showing up in a show.

Does it matter if you’re on a phone or what setup you have for the board? Can’t find a quote option anywhere

If they did a movie version of the Green Lantern/Green Arrow "Hard Traveling Heroes" series from 1970-72, the heads on this board would explode from the "new wokeness".

Starting this with an old Hal Jordan, instead of starting this with young Hal Jordan learning the ropes, makes this less interesting to me. Not sure I like the "gritty True Detective" angle either. Seems more fitting for a Martini Manhunter show or a show about The Question.

I hope it's great. DC Comics has far better heroes and villains than Marvel, and they have been very poorly used in movies and TV in recent memory.

This line makes me think Hal Jordan won't survive the first season.

In an unsurprising twist, the wokes derail a thread complaining about an anti-wokes post.

They are the problem, I am the voice of reason. . .

. . .said both sides while being insufferable.

I've seen the "Hal learns the ropes" before. I want him as the grizzled expert everyone respects as the best. Even if he only last for this new one show. Hopefully they don't make the suit CGI.

Surely we're not talking about the Ryan Reynolds movie.

No I'm more referring to animated stuff.

I really like Nathan Fillion but I wasn't the biggest fan of the way his Hal always came off. I think the voice was great, but I didn't ever feel like he was experienced, unlike some of the other Justice League members.

Oh right on. I'm trying to keep those separated from Gunn's universe.

Did they ever say how much influence he will have over the shows? I assumed (possibly incorrectly) that he was only over the movie division.

"Creature Commandos" is an animated show and the first project in his universe. I believe this Lanterns project is a part of it too.
