This kind of snuck up on me.

King of the Hill is a top 10 show all time for me. It's one I go back to frequently and was actually in the middle of rewatching season 4 this weekend.

Can't wait to see what the guys get into this season. Hopefully some of the voicework improves this season.

Will probably slow roll it starting tonight, but it's once again getting universal acclaim.

If there’s any relaunch/reboot that’s been done right it’s Mike Judge bringing back King of the Hill.

On episode one of the new season now- Bobby and Emilio started reminding me of a Dale and Octavio dynamic last season I hope they keep building on that.

Speaking of Dale-
“A Commie who dabbles in the Dark Arts!”

Is this Rainey Street or Electric Avenue?

I’m trying really hard to not binge the whole thing while I’ve got the house to myself, but damn it’s too good to stop.

The only thing lacking from 4 was an appearance from Ward

Second episode was probably one my favorite episodes of the series ever. Obviously the stuff with Hank and the new dog and then him visiting Ladybird's grave was the highlight here

But Bobby showing up Connie's parents after they stole the birthstone idea by singing a new version of that Backstreet Boys song was smooth as frick

Judge is one of the last who still cares about his creation, and those who love it

The items locked behind glass in episode 2 triggered me a bit.

How do we live in this society?

Just watched the whole season. The storylines are really good. Episodes 2 and 4 were already brought up which I liked, but I liked the No-Cuddle Offense episode. I liked the bit of Peggy dealing with the restaurant critic on Bobby's behalf. I also thought the menopause episode was good.

I haven’t watched the new seasons, but with the timeline, here’s what I would have liked to see:

Good Hank should be in the picture with Hank now serving as a father figure.

Make Good Hank a clone of Hank as a high schooler. Football star, etc. have Hank getting overly involved in having that kind of “son.”

Then have Good Hank get in trouble, which culminates in an exasperated Hank saying “dang it, why can’t you be more like Bobb…”

Have Peggy and everyone look shocked. Then a good father son moment between Hank and Bobby.

KOTH & Scrubs are the only two that have given a damn, IMO.

This one really seemed well done. Hank has never been one to be outwardly affectionate. He tends to show he cares by just being a good husband that provides for his family... This one did a good job of showing how much he cares about Peggy.

Side note.... Peggy has really grown on me... in the original run she would annoy me with her antics but I've found her charming in the the second run. Very good development.

As for Episode 2.... Nearly cried... Lost a dog of 15 years in the first part of June and it hurt... There is always that feeling of "replacing" is almost like cheating.

sounds like you may need to watch the two new seasons... Good Hank is in season 14 (Season 1 of the the reboot)

I am only through the first three episodes but the season premiere kinda strongly implies John Redcorn is plowing Nancy again. Dale mentions that John Redcorn has a charging station at his house for Nancy’s truck and the guys kind of passively lay out and agree with his theory that it’s there for her to conveniently charge her truck when she needs to
