I can take or leave Kevin Smith, but I agree with the above sentiment. I finally saw it a couple weeks ago, and I actually liked it a lot more than I thought I would (based on all the uproar about how bad it was supposedly).
I thought there were some stupid things about it, but I actually really enjoyed it a good bit.

I like Kevin Smith a ton but he wavers back and forth like a flag in his review of things. His first reaction to BvS was nearly like the one most of us here had...which is that it sucked hard. then he went back to see it with Jason Mewes and the mere fact that there were parademeons on screen was enough for him to suddenly like the movie.
What I'm getting at his, the guy simply does not give anything a bad review at this point because he's VERY conscious of how most of his movies have been received post Chasing Amy.
Essentially, a movie gets credit for being better than Yoga Hosers and that's enough...

I liked TLJ, but that's just my opinion. If people didn't like it they didn't like it.
I lost all respect for Kevin Smith's opinion of movies when I found out that his joke about LOTR in Clerks 2 (which was funny) is actually what he thinks of the trilogy in real life. Dude doesn't understand movies.

Then Mark Hamill, who if nerds had Saints would be the first to be canonized, is wrong too. I have to say Harrison Ford was right back in the 80s that it was a travesty how his character was treated simply for action figures. It can be good to listen to these people who know the mind of their characters. We're not moving on. We're going tar and feather the people responsible for this. We don't even have the Gospel of Plinkett yet in regards to this movie.
