I enjoyed the dinosaur action. indoraptor, t rex, carnatasaurus, and mosasaurus were cool.
But ti was a dumb movie and retarded plot. Wish they had dinos like titanboa and super croc. Claire was hot and thicc. why tf would the military use a dinosaur?

Considering bringing my Dino-obsessed 6 year old this weekend.
He’s been asking to go for weeks
He loves Jurassic world
Did not find Jurassic Park scary
Is the darker tone in this one going to be too much?

If he didn't find the original Jurassic Park scary, I doubt he will find this one scary.
There is more of a "horror" tone in this one compared to the previous movies though.

I liked it but the problem I have with these movies is that the dinosaurs just don't look as good as the first one.
They really need to make one with a lot more animatronic dinosaurs instead of pure CGI.
It was good for what it was.
The ending was great, I hope the next one focuses on that aspect.
To me this looks better than anything in the newest movie

my kids did jurassic world when it came out and they were 6 and 9. they were fine with it.
based on reviews i read, they upped the tense scenes, but did not add to the gore or profanity. and i use plugged in because i'm Jesusy. in my opinion they always are too conservative so i take their reviews with a grain of salt and they were pretty particular about this being in the vein of the other ones.

Just saw it. I can't believe how many shot for shot scenes they stole from the first movie. I understand homages, but this movie beat you over the head with it. From the hiding behind a log while the dinos ran by to the dumbwaiter trick. Just lazy as hell.
I will say that this movie utilized the animatronics well. Everyone just assumed they were CGI, but this one had more robo dinos than any other JP sequel.

I feel like lots of movies to that these days and agree its ok for a couple nods, but too much detracts from the movie. one of my big complaints about The Force Awakens.

Exactly! It's one thing to drum up nostalgia with nods. For example, it was cool to see the upside down Jeep that Tim and Grant were in. Or the kid picking up the night vision goggles in Jurassic World 1. But this was ridiculous.

No government would try to save the dinosaurs from the island, so that entire aspect was stupid.

Going see this tonight at 8. Glad it’s run time is barely over 2 hours, because I get sleepy by 9. Might have to get an Icee at the theatre or something.
