I'm sure they will have a plot "twist" in the next one where the dinosaurs are able to reproduce off island without a mate because of genetic modifications. Otherwise, I don't know how they expect a Jurassic "World" with so few dinosaurs.

saw it last night
this is a movie where you have to truly turn your brain off b/c it's dumb as frick pretty much constantly
but it has some good scenes. the horror tone was done really, really well
the CGI was too much and bad
the big spoiler was telegraphed from the 2nd scene with that character
and it had some sad moments. my gf cried 2-3x

Apparently, it has upset a lot of younger kids
Who gives a frick? Tell those kids to grow a fricking pair and go watch old school Unsolved Mysteries episodes with Robert Stack narrating that shite, and a CGI dinosaur dying on a beach will be nothing

Saw it tonight and it was what I thought it would be. Movie won't win any awards but it kept me entertained. That's enough for me.

SPOILERS
I really enjoyed this movie, and it was a great experience in a Dolby theater. Anyone who is triggered by this movie or seemed to really hate it, you must have a miserable life.
When the Indoraptor was in the girls room and was smelling her before he attacked, I was so ready for him to not attack because the girl had raptor DNA in her or something from the cloning. I was expecting somebody really stupid like that.
Hoping the next film focuses on the dinos that were released and on what Wu is doing and that they don’t folllw on the girl cloning plot line

I thought it was ok.
It went off the deep end in the 3rd act to the point that it had me laughing.
The little clone girl’s facial expressions were so bad at some point that I was wondering if it was intentional and a throwback to Lex from the first JP.
I also laughed hard at the “But they are alive, like I am alive” line.
It was an ok movie. I don’t think I’ll ever want to watch it again though.

The issue I had was that why would they have built the second Jurassic park on an island so small with a live volcano on it? Or are we supposed to believe that they didn't know a volcano was there?
I mean...they are recreating freaking dinosaurs here...but couldn't research exactly the landscape of the island they purchased to place them on??

They knew the volcano was there just that it was dormant. The first park was running off geothermal energy. No reason to move the park to a new island if the volcano wasn't active

This movie was very boring. I had to go to the bathroom with about 30 minutes left. While standing at the urinal, i got to thinking. I really couldnt care less what happens the rest of this movie. I just left. Probably my first official walkout.
The supporting cast was terrible. The attempted comedic relief from the kid with glasses was cringe worthy. The "paleo vet" that has never seen a dinosaur was a terrible character.
The entire plot was tired. Oh wow, they are going to militerize them, what a suprise.
Would never watch it again.

The SJWs had to throw that one in there, of course

That brachiosaurus pier scene was definitely the saddest moment of any Jurassic Park movie. Hit me in the feels pretty hard.
Was like watching my childhood die. I had the urge to go home and hug my dog for some reason.

Saw it today. I enjoyed it. The nerdy IT guy was cringeworthy at times, I was hoping he’d get picked off. Other than that and the absurdity of using a completely different species for a blood transfusion, I was pretty happy and entertained
Really enjoyed the mutant raptor seen in the house, it felt so much like the original raptor in the kitchen scene. And the dinosaurs escaping into the real world was predictable, but the next movie could be fantastic with it
