If can't differentiate a cartoon from live action, you might want to consult someone.

Wait until the Tolkienverse Series on Prime gets torn to shreds for costing $500 million and presumably being garbage

Amazon actually cares if their stuff is good tho, because they don’t really care about maximizing the amount of time people spend watching Prime Video, they just care that they have a catalogue strong enough to get people in the door for Amazon’s other services and to keep them stringing along

I’m not a big LOTRs guy but I’d be surprised if it was bad. They want to have a GOTs type of show that gets engrained in pop culture to drive more subscribers for their online shopping part of their business

Well, this sucks. It wasn't The Boys nor Invincible but it was far from being any of DC's CW shows.

i probably do because i cant remember if the storylines around the fights with the young son were cartoon fights from invincible or real life fights from jupiter's legacy.

dead serious. these 2 shows completely ran together for me because of the similar theme.

There is absolutely no way they spent $200 on the production of the first season of Jupiter’s Legacy. Acquiring the rights and actually make the season topped out at $150 million at the absolute most.

Plus if it cost too much, they wouldn’t be doing a spin-off.

Lol- how could you possibly know that with certainty? Are you in the business?

Let’s be honest. First season was a mess. The kid supers sucked. The flashbacks were far better than the “plot” in the future. The costumes were lame. The fight scenes were campy cheese. Just poor execution.

I thought all of this was done deliberately

I actually enjoyed it

The entire season seemed like it was about to get good, but never did. It was very color by numbers and the special effects were pitiful given the budget they had to work with.

its sad i am completely confused by whether i watched jupiters legacy or invincible.

Invincible was the better show and it’s not even close and probably why it was renewed before the first season was even finished. I liked Jupiters Legacy and was hoping for a second season but I’m not surprised because this is what Netflix does.

This x 1000. Those shows are an abomination.

Dang how did the show already get canceled. Ive been trying to wait for a time where I can binge it all in 1 day. But if it's already canceled now I have zero desire to even watch it anymore.

I watched it but it was hard to point to where $200 million was spent. The show doesn’t have a lot going for it. No bankable stars. B grade visuals. Bad costuming and makeup (Utopian’s wig and beard... yikes) Only one memorable action sequence. Where’s the beef?

I wanted to like it. I gave it a fair shot. But it’s a real head-scratcher to figure out where the money went.
