Look...I know Lizzy Caplan isn't a household name, but shows like True Blood, Masters of Sex, and Castle Rock were popular shows. And I'm willing to bet Mean Girls is one of the most-watched films from the year 2004. Cloverfield was a box office hit and the first film to gross over $100 million in the year 2008.

The HS I worked with literally just had a “On Wednesdays We Wear Pink” day for Homecoming. Plenty of that list is still popular.

Also Lizzy Caplan plays unhinged really well.

You mean the one based on Stephen King content.

Nah, no way that was popular.

There's no point in arguing. You know you're right and that's all that counts in the end. It can't be helped that he doesn't think Mean Girls is a popular flick.

And, to think, the first place many of us probably saw her was as the ugly-ish, goth, “lesbian” chick in “Mean Girls.”

Would have much rather seen Anne Archer getting plowed in the original than Glenn Close.

Easily. shite, it's well liked and old enough to be considered an essential classic teen movie now.

Sounds like they're woking it up. Dan was scum in the original, but Alex was clearly the villain. I anticipate her being a much more sympathetic character this time around, and I don't see her boiling any bunnies in the remake.

Watched that not too long ago. I had never heard of it before. Loved it though.

I was hoping it would be called “The Mighty F**k.”

The real shame is the lack of Party Down references in this thread

Pacey sure has come a long way since Dawson's Creek.

And Lizzy, she's the chick I recognize in so many things but never knew it was her.

Interesting.

As crazy as it sounds I think he turned the corner as early as The Skulls. Always been a solid actor.
