Kit and Clarke are horrible together. Really, Kit is only good in action scenes being a badass.

There is such little acting of these 2 characters this year it's painful to watch. They ride dragons, avoid each other, when they do speak it is brief and awkward.
D&D spent all of these years building up these great characters only to put them to the sideline in order to impress people with 3 hours of battles.

I'm more disappointed that so far, in the final season, the ONE person who could be considered most as the story's true protagonist, hasn't done shite. He hasn't affected the story in any meaningful way.

The character is great. What Douce and Dong have done to him is not. They have dropped the ball big time with him and Tyrion (and many others, but these two have been severely undermined)

He was also a very key component in showing why Dany chose "fear" as a ruling tactic.
These are super critical scenes to fulfill the D&D vision of GoT.
They'll never let a good story get in the way of a dragon burning KL for 30 minutes straight.

A heroic character needs to do things to be heroic. To be useful.
It’s been a while since that happened.
The perpetual pained facial expression, which projects zero confidence, doesn’t help either.
The last two seasons, he’s been like a small child, tugging at Dani’s skirt.
