Yes, that goofy frolicking Hitler also spends most of the movie talking about how evil and disgusting Jews are and why they should all be killed. Such a positive portrayal in a movie where arguably the 2nd or third most important character is a Jewish girl hiding in an attic from the Holocaust! I hope you’re just trolling and not this brutally stupid.

Just dropping in to say JoJo Rabbit was my favorite film of 2019.
It’s subtlety was certainly lost on our resident Saint here, but that is often true of those on the spectrum...so we may need to cut him a break.

Wow, this whole thread...
I liked the movie. It's basically though the eyes of a kid, and not historically accurate. I mean, in the end you had Americans in the town displaying 50 star flags, and Soviets massacring German soldiers just one block over. Just take the movie for what it is and don't overthink it. Geez louise.
