And when Jojo starts to realize who Hitler really is, Hitler goes into one of the actual Adolf Hitler's famous rants and now Jojo sees that speech for the vile evil it represents.

The movie portrays Hitler as the boys I visions him. If you think Nazi Youth thought of hitler as anything but a superhero you’re a fricking idiot. But as the boy revolves so does how he sees Hitler until he’s actually the ranting lunatic that Hitler really was (with bullet hole).

If you pay attention as the boy grows up and learns more about the jewish girl and what’s going on outside Hitler becomes more and more like actual Hitler.

The opening credits where they show footage of Germans screaming and crying for Hitler cut like a Beatlesmania video is brilliant.

The movie doesn’t glamorize him. It portrays how he was glamorized in Nazi Germany. Sorta different.

And towards the end they clearly portray him as the Hitler we know. The ranting raving evil POS. The evolution of the imaginary friend is a huge part of the movie.

Idk ive watched almost every documentary on Hitler on every streaming site. I’m jewish so the idea of how a country could fall victim to someone like this has always interested me.

It was a combination of fear and propaganda. You’re much safer as a Nazi Youth. That was the facts.
