Yep noticed that too.

I liked it for the reasons I like all the Wick movies. But it seems an incomplete ending with the high table still intact. He abandoned the idea of Vengfully taking them all down a little too easily. French Joe Burrow seems like a lackluster villain to go out with. For that reason I think he’ll probably be back to finish off the high table.

John Wick 5 may already be in the works. That was quick.

I’m sure they’re going to throw assloads of money at Keanu and Stahleski. They both said they liked where they ended it but “never say never” I personally don’t believe he’s dead. He’s survived worse IMO


I’m ok if they leave it as is but I do think, if they make a 5th, that the Bowery and Winston helped “kill him” so people would stop looking for him. Story wise, going to take something pretty drastic to bring him out once again. He doesn’t really have anyone left he cares about other than Caine, Winston and Koji’s daughter. And the only thing that can top this is him going after the High Table completely. But if they’re going to do spin-offs, I don’t think they’ll want just anarchy in this assassin world. Of course, they could set it up to where a younger assassin is being hunted by the table and he finds Wick. I’m sure they’ll come up with something if they do a 5th. But I do think they’ll try and do spin-offs first before they come back to Baba Yaga


ETA: also with the whole Chapter deal being used in the titles for the sequels, they’re just begging for a 5th to be titled John Wick: The Final Chapter

the assassin with the dog ripping his hand open with the knife was hard to swallow. he would need major hand surgery after that, not just a bandage

the himmel holle fight was amazing, best part of the movie

The original plan was to film 4 and 5 at the same time so the odd fitting of the ending is probably elements of both movies trying to be included into this one. I think whichever way it goes, Wick 5, a spin-off or closure, they did a good job being able to justify any of those outcomes.
