I have not watched one episode of this show.
But since everything else I watch (including ESPN) is talking about this show I will start from the beginning on Sunday (Jersey Shore marathon)

Some guys will talk to her to get on camera, but for the most part you are right. Normally, I'm sure Snookers gets tons of douche bags hitting on her, especially if it is on the down-low. I live near chicks that are a lot fatter and uglier than snooks, but they dress slutty and bring home fairly attractive guys (usually married lawyers) all the time. It is pretty amusing, and nothing like what you'd think from reading the OT's super high fake standards of WYHI.

I was hoping they would add another female roommate when the other chick (name escapes me) went home.
So far, in order of coolness, I rank them as:
1. Paulie - actually wouldn't mind hanging out with him, despite his blow drying and wax sculpting that takes him 30 minutes to do.
2. Vinny - the only housemate who is comfortable as who he is.
3. JWow - The kind of girl that guys can hang with.
4. Ronnie - Despite being a total "lover" and not a "player" like he wanted to come off as, he's beaten up assholes and the steroids haven't affected him as much as some.
5. The Situation - Yes, he's the centerpiece of the show, but Ronnie pegged him. He's insecure, deepdown, and his pride got a big sting because of Sammi ditching him for Ronnie
6. Snookie - A bit of a basketcase, but she has come a long way and been cooler. She gets picked on a bunch and she seems like a desperate chick. I am not sure why she thinks she is such a sex symbol and she keeps getting beat up by girls and guys.
7. Sammi - Despite being somewhat attractive in a non-madeup sort of way, her insecurity is unreal and the stuff she's done to Ronnie should have gotten her the boot. Ronnie should be playing around. She seemed cool at first, but she's not living it up and therefor, she's costing Ronnie a shot at living it up.
In the end, Paulie tries half of what the Situation does when it comes to girls, but he still is the biggest pimp of the house and isn't putting on fronts left and right, unlike Mike.

The dude is 21 and every time his roommates bring extra girls back to the hot tub that he can't even hook up with he tells the camera "this might be the greatest thing ever." Vinny is being a bitch because he's done nothing the entire series and all of a sudden has a big ego.
They get on mike for being fake or changing or whatever but Vinny has just been "there" the entire show prior the last weeks eps.
He goes from never getting any the whole show to juggling the 50 year old and abless mike and suddenly thinks he's the pimp of the house.

Just based on the aftershows, it seems like Ronnie and Sammi both really hate the Situation. That seems entirely reasonable, of course.
