Good for him. He comes from a good family and I am happy to see him succeed

This thread should be perma-stickied

The only racial division I personally witness daily is on MSM and insane leftist. I live in SW Louisiana and my experience may be different than others living elsewhere. A high level of racial division is a narrative put forth by the left. IMHO

All of this. Get out and interact with people. They are the same as they always were. Media and poliboard are the only places where I see race even brought up anymore.

Actually yes. The weekly td threads about this very subject.
College football should be set up into 4-6 leagues like English soccer. Where relegation and promotion happens and the tv deals are with the leagues. The higher tier league you are in, the more your league payout is.
Wonder what’s the story there
Both of you need to shut the frick up!

Yes, TSMC investing over $3B in their decades-old New Mexico facility and over $20B in 2 different manufacturing sites in AZ. The projects have been in the works since before COVID.

these tough guy “I’d knock his arse out” morons… it’s easy to tell who’s never been to the big city. That guy 100% had a weapon likely a gun.

It’s really all talk until you are put in that situation. I’m from small town south La., currently live in Dallas and travel a lot.

We were in NYC during thanksgiving a couple of years ago on a family trip. Walking along in the financial district and it was kind of empty. My MIL was kind of trailing behind the group and a guy came out of nowhere and pulled a knife on her. Instinct kicked in and put myself between him and the rest of our family. He didn’t even think about it after that. He hauled arse and we called the cops.

They were on scene in about two minutes.

I hope that I would have acted the same way in this situation and I believe that most of the “tough guys”,as you call them, would too.

Love PCU. At the time, I was sure that the PC movement was fad-ish and it wouldn’t age well. But, every time I catch it on, I’m impressed with how it’s still relevant.

Which one better predicted our current social/political climate?

I see lots of present day elements in both.

I call it a tie

Abbott, in general, is viewed by folks in Dallas, Houston, Austin and to some degree San Antonio as having moved too slowly.

I wouldn't necessarily agree with this. I've been in the North Dallas Suburbs for over 3 years and Abbott seems to revered here. Like in a can-do-no-wrong type of way.
