I hate rats. Rats are gross. Ants are not. I even cried for one once when I was a kid watching Honey I shrunk the kids. Rats are just nasty. I agree with Bloodsport there.

Yeah that was pretty damn good. The only thing that kept it from being great was that weird pacing of the second act. Some really good moments, like them at the bar and Ratcatcher 2’s story in the van, but most of the stuff with Harley on her own was just kind of lame. I think Robbie was fine, I just think Gunn didn’t really know what to do with her until the end.
I also felt like Polka Dot Man’s death was a little too much. Flagg’s death was enough I think.

I personally wouldn't put this over the real Justice League (Not Josstice League) or Aquaman, but I would probably put it slightly ahead of Shazam. To use a football analogy, it's a lock for the Pro Bowl but not an All-Pro.
I respect that but to me this movie is easily better than both of those and I enjoyed the real Justice League and Aquaman quite a bit

I've never cared for Harley, and even here, when she talks it just annoys the shite out of me. But Gunn gave her some pretty cool scenes. I really liked the scene where she escaped.
Overall, I really liked it. Some scenes were great. I just didn't really like that Starro character. I wish they'd make a suicide squad that keeps it simple.

I liked this one. Fun movie. Much better than the first. I gotta think those folks in the operation center are doomed, especially the one who knocked out Waller.

This seems to be WAY closer to Doom Patrol, than to any of the DC movies. Like I said in the other thread- trippy and weird.
Also like I said in the other thread, it was entertaining, but there were points were it just felt like it was trying too hard to be edgy; as compared to, say, Deadpool, where that just flowed naturally.
I'm gonna bring the Doom Patrol comparison back- this felt 100% like a tie-in to that.

Movie was good. I was hoping for more humor but I enjoyed it anyway.
Maybe I'm just desensitized to violence, but it didn't feel to me like this was an R rated movie. Didn't even come close to Deadpool level. I know that's a high level, but I was expecting it to be closer to that.

Man I'd put Shazam above both those other films.

Same. Snyder’s JL is an improvement over the theatrical cut, but I still don’t think it's anything special.

Yikes. That was pretty bad. The first few minutes were great but then it fell off. The humor was forced and mostly pretty cringy. (Which can work sometimes, but didn’t here). Prob ranked number 3/4 in dceu.
King shark was great (except a little too groot acting sometimes) but still a great character
They still have no clue what to do with Harley Quinn. The weird prisoner rape? scene was strange. Her breaking out and thanking the others was great though. I don’t understand why they can’t see how popular she is in the cartoons and just roll with that.

I respectfully disagree about Justice League. It was great.

It was an R movie

Not rape, weird until she goes full Harley on him.

Felt like this was an enjoyable movie. Didn’t blow my socks off but a fun hang. Felt a little too quippy at times
And I’m not tuned into the comic book versions so I assume there’s some sort of reasoning behind this but I was confused (maybe just too high and didn’t notice) but earlier in the movie they show Weasal Die and then reveal an alive weasel in their labs. But then “reveal” later that the weasel from the opening scene is actually alive and went to hide in the jungle
So are there two weasels or is something off?

Your takes and thread obsessions are fricking annoying as shite.
This and Shazam are easily the DCEU G.O.A.Ts. Nothing else even in the same stratosphere

Most of the gore was very cartoonish, to plain silly. Now, I watched it at home on a 60" with surround sound and not on IMAX, but although there were gratuitous levels of "gore", it didn't ever really shock me.
The two things that seemed to stand out the most was Savant killing that bird in the beginning, and Harley getting tortured. The rest seemed geared towards 13 year old sensibilities, especially if the kids game any.
I suppose Harley's escape, if you remove the psychedelic flowers and birds, got pretty bloody.

Yeah it’s not Harley’s character that annoys me because she’s great in the cartoons, but this is her third appearance in live action and all three times I just cringe when she’s on screen for the most part.
I was way more invested in pretty much all of the Squad, even Peacemaker, more than I was with Harley.

I don't recall seeing a weasel in the labs. If there was, I definitely missed that.
