Well this could be cool...Mysterio could be great. The action sequences in Spider Man homecoming were pretty bad but everything else was top notch.

I'll give you Bucky

But Coulson never came back in the movies, and Fury faked his own death and came back in the same movie. I'd hardly consider that bringing a character back from the dead.

There was a report a few weeks ago that Matt Damon turned down the villain role but they never said who the villain was. I guess it was Mysterio.

But you count Loki's "death" as a real death... even though he came back in the same film.

Fair enough, we won't count Loki either

Honestly I put Loki because they gave him "deaths" in Thor 1 and 2. Also I forgot he was in the post credit scene for Thor 1.

Perfect opportunity to introduce Ben Reilly.

Seems weird to get a big name actor for someone who will be behind a mask made specifically to hide their appearance. I know they do it all the time but seems like a waste of Jake gyllenhal

He went on a hot streak with movies a couple years ago and he’s been pretty quiet since. Guys one of the best actors out today

f course the audience knows these characters will return, but are going to pretend that's it's not going to affect the remaining characters and their motivations in Part 2?

Or lets just all ignore that the core of this emotional moment was the fact that a teenage kid was scared because he actually was dying. Yeah, he's coming back. It doesn't change the fact that he died, and was very frightened.

I just don't get it. I've never watched a Stallone, Norris, Van Damme, Willis movie ever thinking they will die. Those aren't the rules of the film.

They are going to see thousands of rounds of ammunition and survive with flesh wounds every time.

That too

But honestly it doesn't really matter. There's always going to be a group of people complaining about marvel movies despite knowing exactly what kind of movie they are going to see.

It's the hero's journey.

Hero goes on a journey, gets in a crisis, encounters difficulty, overcomes said difficulty and is changed or altered in some way based on the outcome. We know movies, books, etc. will end with the hero victorious but it's the journey to that end that intrigues us. I don't believe for one second so many people want these characters to actually die off.

Kinda silly to do the emotional death in infinity wars when there is no chance of him remaining that way.

Hasn't there been more than one Spider-Man?
