Not too shabby. Entertaining, good pace. Obviously, a few conveniences, but that's to be expected.

Clearly, they are retconning the character based on his backstory and the apparent absence of a particular character.

Mike November never ceases to be hilarious.

I thought the plot was a mess but it was still fun

The previous amazon Jack Ryan series were better

I watched the first season and thought it was decent. Are the rest good?

They're okay. 1st season is best.

You don't feel like you've wasted your time watching them.

Honestly felt like there were way too many plot holes. Especially the last fight scene

All I ever want from an action movie is to be entertained…anything else like plot twists, etc is a bonus.

Was definitely entertaining.

The action scenes were fun, but I found it difficult to follow. 5/10 at best.

I really enjoyed season 3. It’s a lot more spycraft type stuff, which is right down my alley. I still think season 1 was the best, but 3 isn’t far behind. I just did a rewatch recently and skipped seasons 2 and 4.

Season 1 is Hollywood film quality and one of my favorite seasons of TV. Season 2 was a step down, season 3 is typical Amazon Reacher-like slop. Didn't even get to season 4 or Ghost War.

Is it a movie or mini-series?

it’s a standalone movie. We watched it the other night I thought it was great. Wendell Pierce is a little over the top and the plot is pretty convoluted but it’s well made and a fun watch

I beg to differ

The Venezuela season, was that season 2? That was a serious waste of time. It's taken a long time for me to forgive that, which is why I haven't watched this movie yet.

Mike November is the best character in the Jack Ryan Amazon universe.

Also, Sienna Miller still looks good at 44.

I was watching this with a lady friend and we had gotten all the way to the big climactic gunfight scene in the skyscraper, and I looked over at her and said - I legitimately don’t know what the plot of this movie is like I don’t even know what they are trying to accomplish in this scene

I always thought she’d become a major star after seeing her in Layer Cake opposite Daniel Craig in the role that got him Bond later on.

She was one of the prettiest women in Hollywood for quite awhile even if she never broke through to become a consistent female lead.

I guess im gonna keep watching just because i want something to play while i eat... but why do they have to have so many plot holes and do just whatever they want that makes no sense?

We start off with our hero easily getting trapped and cornered within a couple of minutes. A guy whos supposed highliggt as a character is their analytical mind.

At about 20 minutes we see our villain whos been watching the whole time apparently... who could kill everyone whos looking into whatever hes protecting decide meh... ill just shoot this 1 guy who works for me woth my silinced sniper and piss off and let everyone else live to continue looking into me.

Just seems lazy to me. As though the writers like hmmm jack wants info out of this guy, but i dont want him to get any. I know!! Single shot sniper sounds cool!

And also the chick who had to jump off a bridge to get onto the boat .... she's right there too without being wet! She got off the boat and onto land and chased her way down to the racing speed boat within seconds because... she has to be there!

I didn't finish the series. Does that matter to possibly enjoying this movie?

I've become a big Michael Kelly fan because of this show. He's just good in everything.

I actually thought the plot was followable for the most part.
