I've only watched Taylor Sheridan show. It was Mayor of Kingstown.

I have be missing out. What should I watch next? I heard about Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire.

My wife and I are huge TS fans..I would suggest Landman next if you want to stick with his works.

I liked The Madison.
Also, Liked Mayor of Kingstown and the first season of Landman (just haven’t been motivated to watch 2nd yet but will eventually). I have not watched any of the Yellowstone series. I started to watch Yellowstone after it had been out several years without having an Interest previously but still could not really into first episode and then son got killed. In that very short time he might have been the only character I didn’t dislike. I will probably watch the 2 prequel series one day especially the first one. The first one seems to show how harsh things were for those moving out west.

We started with 1883 then 1923 and now on Yellowstone. So far so good. We are also watching Lioness. Taylor Sheridan is good at tv

Frisco King in 2027 seems more fitting every day, but they film around the entire metroplex. It was supposed to the NOLA King and filmed in Louisiana, but Fort Worth or Denton County built a studio for Sheridan making the show change course and become a Texas show. So instead of Samual Jackson’s Tulsa King character going to his hometown of New Orleans to start his own criminal enterprise he will just move down to DFW and set up shop in Frisco.

I think you should maybe stop there.
I watched up to S2 EP1 of Yellowstone years ago and I was baffled and how corny and badly written it was. Kept thinking "this is the show people are obsessed with?" I had to stop after he was shot and rushed to the... veterinarian to be saved. Can't imagine the rest of the Yellowstone Cinematic Universe is any better.

Lioness is good. 1883 is OK. 1923 is good.
I actually think that his best work is The Madison. It's the least action packed but the most thoughtful series I think I've seen this last year.
Landman is Gen X slop, but I genuinely enjoy it. But I also grew up in west Texas so there is a bit of nostalgia there.

You could try his earlier work. Sons of Anarchy.
Its a California biker gang. There is usually 1 episode a season that really surprises you with the violence and chaos. It's action packed and pretty rough at times.
But the overall root of the story arch is really good and complex.

Oh, jeez.
If you liked Mayor of Kingstown, try Ray Donovan. Ray is a "fixer" like Mike, and the cast and acting are far superior.
If you want to get really wild and crazy, watch Banshee.
