From my wife:

Brooke Shields - awesomely cool, beautiful little girls

Charles Barkley - super nice, crossed the room just to shake her hand and say hello, for no other reason than just to be nice

Shaq - so huge next to Barkley, hardly looks human, totally nice

Jennifer Garner - nicest person, totally down to earth

Ben Affleck - aloof, cock, a-hole

Elliot Gould - nicest man in the world, like your grandpa

Racquel Welch - pretty nice

Edwin Edwards - leering, puffy, smooth, pervert, makes your skin crawl, creepy as shite, dirty old man

Eli Manning - totally nice

Jane Seymour - sooooo beautiful, seemed nice

Jessica Simpson - cunty, fatter than you think

Sorry - I always thought Goodman was from NOLA. My bad.

And - why is Steve Martin such a prick? Stories anyone?

Jason Segel-really cool. In fact, he even invited some friends to stay at his house in LA. They took him up on it too. Cool as shite.

That's an awesome story. How did your friends get that invite? Kind of an odd thing, but pretty damn cool!

I talked to him briefly at Jazzfest a couple of years ago and he was really nice (and wasted).

I'm always interested to hear stuff like this. For everyone in the thread who said so and so was a real jerk or an arse or whatever, what was it in particular? Just their overall demeanor or did they do something specific that was really crappy?

Working at a restaurant in BR I've only met a few former LSU football players...

Glenn Dorsey, Tyson Jackson, Quintin Thornton, Garrett Green, and Kirston Pittman...all cool dudes.

Herman Johnson was cool as hell.

Matt Flynn seems cool. Was at the same party with him once.

Met Justin Vincent at the dining hall - kind of a jerk. He used to date my buddy's sister.

Yeah, but how could you tell? He's slicker than a greased up frog on wet ice.

Some friends I ride bikes with met Mark Paul Gosselar (sp) aka Zack Morris riding on the levee in NOLA. Said he was a super cool dude.

I met Craig Biggio a couple of times as a kid getting autographs. Never rushed the kids thru, always asked us questions and listened to the answers.

Met Zach Strief a couple of times. Cool guy.

Bono is an a-hole.

President Bush 43 was a very cool guy, met him by accident. Was trying to meet Roger Staubach, stood on the wrong portal after the coin toss of the last Super Bowl in NOLA. The Secret Service guys we met below the stadium were two of the coolest people I have ever met. I mean, you're protecting the ex president. How likely is someone to actually try to off one of them?

Nice: Brad Pitt (very serious, but very cordial and was absolutely genuine)
Richard Simmons (are you surprised?)

Not cool: Ed Helms

Woody Harrelson- awesome when he's stoned and hitting on Asian chicks.

Ray Liotta- prick

Jeffry Tombar was in Whole Foods on Jefferson a couple of years back. I walked by and said "there's always money in the bannana stand". He looked up and said "Please, no touching"

Just met Emma Thompson yesterday, and she might be one of the nicest people I have met in my life period.

Have met Samuel Jackson a few times over the past few months, he seems to be pretty aloof in public, does a better job of blending than you would think he could do.

Morgan Freeman: Hell of a nice guy. Exactly how you would expect.

Eli, Peyton, and Archie: I think I drove Eli nuts since that was about 2 months after the 2008 Super Bowl and I was drunk as frick. Seen him around Oxford several times.

Met Johnny Knoxville at an lsu tailgate. The keg was in a uhaul type truck with a curtain of some kind covering the opening. I pulled it back and he was in the truck getting some beer. I said the only thing that came to mind which was "don't kick me in the nuts". We talked for a couple of minutes and he was very nice and a funny dude. Only later did I realize I should have asked if he pissed in the keg or anything while he was back there by himself.

Met brooke shields briefly and she seemed really nice and approachable. This was recent and it surprised me that she looked pretty good in person because a few others I've seen off screen of that age do not.

Jason segal went out of his way to be nice. Dude seemed very real an down to earth. Wish he had invited me out to his LA pad but I was too busy telling him how brilliant it was to write and make a movie where you are being paid to hang out at a tropical resort and make out with Veronica mars and Milan kunis.

Also - a former work friend of mine slept with John cusack while he was filming runaway jury and said he was the worst ever. Dude just did not care at all about anything but himself and well, several other things that aren't pertenent other than him being quite selfish. I guess u can act that way if you are a movie star and have a train of women waiting to sleep with you.

Nice:

Elijah Wood

Meh:

Jamie Foxx--although this was at the 2003 Final Four, so he wasn't nearly as famous as he is now. I hear is quite the a-hole these days.
