Apparently the first American to be nominated for that award in 30 years and the second American ever to win a Cesar award.
It seems to be if she's in a mainstream film her acting is bad (I forgot about Charlie's Angels, but again that might have been writing as the entire movie sucked, not just her), but in independent films she appears to be much better.
Sort of like Natalie Portman. Terrible in big budget movies, not bad at all in smaller flicks.

Or zomebieland. Or Superbad. Or LaLa Land. Or pretty much most of Stone’s filmography. Levy is mediocre.

Not to mention that Emma Stone's been in the business a good bit longer - her first roles were in 2005, first big role in 2007 (Superbad). Levy's first roles were 5-7 years later.

To be fair to Moss, shows don't really position her as attractive, do they? Certainly not her characters in Mad Men or Handmaid's Tale.
This is as opposed to Gyllenhaal in Batman or SJP in plenty of shows, where they are clearly projected as attractive.

I think she's attractive as well, but that's beside the point. Should actresses be a group of models that can't act? You can get that anywhere.

Elizabeth Moss is one of the most unattractive actresses in Hollywood - both physically and in terms of her way-over-the-top hamming it up in the form of exaggerated facial expressions which I imagine she thinks are going to stun the audience while, in effect, the audience is being royally turned off by her.
She needs to learn some humility or watch her career become one big joke.

This 'scientology' saturated actress is gaining a lot of power in Hollywood and has become quite delusional about her rather deformed physical appearance and now believes herself to be quite the femme fatale.
So with her newly gained power she is demanding roles that should be played by good looking young actresses, believing herself to be one of them.
