In the theme song there’s a line that goes:
“Growing up is not so tough. Except when I’ve had enough.”
Right there it should tip you off that this is a show about a whiny little bastard.
This show is terrible and Canada should be invaded and destroyed for unleashing it on the rest of the world. The goodwill that nation accrued from giving us Gordon Lightfoot, Bob and Doug McKenzie, and Alex Trebek is completely undone by this bald headed whiny jackass.
I’ve dealt with kidney stones multiple times. That was a walk in the park compared to an episode of this prick. He’s four years old and is bald. What the hell does he have? If you watch an episode of him it makes you think and hope that this hairless four year old brat has leukemia and the chemo isn’t working. Childhood cancer is a bad thing but if that’s what is taking Caillou out I would cheer for long and painful death for that piece of crap.

It’s awful. I made my kids turn it off when they were little and I didn’t let them watch it. Didn’t want it to rot their brain and let them think it was okay to act that way.

I've been drinking and may be my first ever respond on the Movie/TV Board.
Son had a Caillo cake about 10 years ago, and when I told him it was the last episode ever, all of his football friends came and watched it, when they were well past that age.
Weird theory, but he died of cancer, and Rosie is telling the story as the Grandma/Older, that's why the frames are angelic/clouds.

I've never seen the show but have seen countless references online to how awful and shitty it is, and how crappy the main character is.
Withtout having to actually tune in. what exactly does he do that's so bad? I can see in one of these posts that even right there in the theme song there's a reference to quitting when things get tough or something. But wiht the universal hatred this kid gets there's gotta be plenty of examples. Is he just a little a-hole that disobeys his parents? Does he bully other kids? I'm so curious now.
