I’ve been binging a bunch of movies during Rona Season and I finished Moon, Richard Jewell, 3 billboards, started Fossee Verdon. Everything he is in he is great. Hell he was even in Iron Man 2. I can’t pinpoint what it is exactly about him that I like, maybe he just picks good roles. Excited to see JoJo Rabbit.

Anyway, is he a top 10 actor right now? Top 15/20?

He also was good in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Played Bob Ford’s brother.

He slow rolled his own career and I think this was because he was very selective. I haven't seem him in anything to date I wouldn't give him an A or A+ grade.

He has Hanks or Denzel range, too, between the villainous role in Green Mile, the "two man" show in Moon, almost stealing Galaxy Quest in a souped up cameo role, to very impressive turns like 3 Billboards, he stands out in almost everything, regardless of the film, surrounding cast or role.

I love this movie. Him quoting "I need a hero" when the kids get stuck has me rolling every time.
