Seems like I haven't seen any decent new movies come out on Netflix in months. I will give them credit for a few of the original series shows. House of cards and Stranger Things was great. But where are the movies? Anyone seen any good movies on Netflix lately worth watching?

If you downvote because you disagree - list a good movie. Otherwise no one gives a shite about a downvote.

Netflix believes the future is in original content. They are no longer competing with cable - they're competing with Amazon, HBO and Hulu.

Well, Kodi plus Exodus, but that would be quibbling.

Subscription channel series with A-list actors are the future. Though Netflix is handing Scorcese $100 mil for his next movie.

Netflix is great if you have kids. Other then that, Amazon Prime is better.

The best way to watch movies with Netflix is DVDs/Bluray through the mail. The streaming selection sucks.

I'm still getting something out of it but I could see that well drying up in the next year or so. Time to check out the Bollywood films, baw.

The film industry gave them the collective finger.

I've seen tons of now on dvd commercials that say " not streaming on Netflix for years"

Which always struck me as odd. It's one thing to just wait to release to streaming. It's an entirely different thing to try and use that as leverage to force people to buy dvds

All people will do then is pirate the DVD. They'd be much smarter to collect the fees from Netflix for streaming as well at the initial DVD release

House of cards worth watching? Ever since I got an Apple TV I've been watching Netflix more and more, and damn YouTube has some serious content.

Yes. HoC is great

Also recommend Dexter, Pinky Blinders, and their version of Vikings( can't remember the name)

Gonna try Frontier soon. Heard good things.

MIL has HBO so we use her login to get HBOGO. Currently watching The Wire

Netflix movie selection does suck but if you try to get Kodi, skip the fire stick and get the full blown Fire TV box. Stick is slow. eBay sells some w Kodi installed but it is seriously easy to do yourself

Just go with the torrent sites. You can watch any damned thing you want for free, but do run the proxy.

The downloads sometimes take a while, but that's a small price to pay for paying no price.

Though, if you watch a movie that has just hit the theaters, it will very often be a video recording from inside the theater. But, if you can wait for DVD, you can wait for higher quality torrents.
