She's effectively Ezra Miller in terms of fan appeal. It makes zero sense. She's clearly a disturbed person, has zero problem going on TV and lying about all manner of things.

Oh Troy was horrible and I'm looking forward to this movie. I bet the cinematography will be excellent. But the casting seems odd again nothing is really confirmed.

There are not. And Copilot finding the same rumor threads as you doesn't make that true. For instance, the sourcing, SFFGazette.com, is an article headlined "Is Elliot Page Playing Achilles in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey?" And then quotes a bunch of people asking that same question on Twitter.

Yes, because they haven’t released an official cast for everybody yet but that’s the rumors (and that’s what they call it) & it matches with what others are saying .
There’s no question that Page is in the movie, it’s just a matter of what exactly her role is. Why is this an issue for you?

My dark horse candidate for Achilles is none other than Damon’s BFF, Ben Affleck. Nolan was able to keep Damon’s role in Interstellar a surprise and Affleck did visit the set during filming last year. He’s pretty old though.
