Its weird to put zero greeks in the movie, but maybe this is gonna be an "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" style retelling
And obviously thats hyperbole but there is plenty room for interpretations of classic stories.

It isn't. It's called The Odyssey. The cast of characters are directly from Homer's works.
If Nolan wanted to do a retelling, Oh Brother Where Art Thou has already been done.

Were Anatolians not Turkic peoples like the Kazakhs?
Certainly, the Hittites would have looked similar to Turkish folks today as that is where the Hittite Empire was. Is the thought that the Hittites drove Western Europeans (names Greeks and Greek-like peoples) out of Turkey?
