They were white but you have to remember they spent a lot of time outdoors rather than sitting in cubicles.
Ancient Greeks primarily had Mediterranean features with tan or olive skin, dark hair, and dark eyes.

I just look at their art to get a good picture.

But the pigments have washed away or been removed through the processes of cleaning on art that old. The white marble statues used to be painted

The features haven't faded, and it's not just the statues anyway. There are a lot of other artistic depictions as well.
I'm not saying they all looked like Simon Pegg, but they didn't look like Zendaya either, much less Lupita.

The art also often depicted heroes and important people as whiter than average. Since the majority of working class people had to be outside in the sun all day and therefore were very tan, being pasty white was a status symbol. If you were super pale that meant that you were elite enough that you didn’t have to be outside working all the time. Similar to how people in the middle ages thought chubby girls were beautiful. Not a lot of fat people around when there is a famine every few years

holy dumbass. Do you really believe that? You realize the ancient Greeks weren’t white Europeans, right?

Were Anatolians not Turkic peoples like the Kazakhs?
No. The Turks did not invade Anatolia until around 1000 A.D., and that was through different stages of invasions and migrations.

Certainly, the Hittites would have looked similar to Turkish folks today as that is where the Hittite Empire was.
What? Absolutely not. The Hittites were an indo-European speaking people.

Bah, I got confused when looking into them. Yes, they were Indo-European speaking people probably from the Balkans.
The Trojans would have been ruled probably by a Balkan people but were distinctly Anatolian, being a blend of Balkan and Mediterranean.
I suppose they would look not dissimilar to modern day Greeks, though I think there are plenty of Turkish people who would also favor a fairer complexion than Arabic peoples that I think a lot of folks on here may be associating with “Turkish.”
Turks are a massive blend of cultures and ethnicities now, and I have to imagine some of that red haired, blond haired, fairer skin and rounded facial features would still be found in Turkey, particularly in Istanbul and places in Western Turkey.
