I hate to agree with killz, but Deadpool was overrated

Deadpool was fun for its blue humor, and self referential treatment, but it's a by the numbers origin flick. It's more Kick-arse (never saw part two), than Marvel movie. Thought it was a very good time.

It's not that they feel very strongly about the issue, it's that they feel very strongly about Kills. Namely, they feel that Kills is an absolute douchebag. So his little bout of contrarianism comes across not as genuine, but as a hackish attempt at doing what he always does: being a trolling douchebag.

So even if he's being honest about the way he feels, no one particularly believes him.

There's always that, true enough. Kills does kind of bring it on himself. I admit to not being entirely clear on whether the family he's referring to have the words "cabbage patch" involved in their physical description.

I seen it theaters, and although i liked it. I was a little disappointed, could of used one or two more action seens I thought. Since then though ive seen it like 9 times, the rewatch factor is elite. Maybe you should check it out a few more times.

Okay, Money...if no one believes me, I guess that means you (and everyone else) believe I actually love the movie, right?

If so, you're admitting that Deadpool is a certified "untouchable" movie beyond the realm of debate and criticism - a perfect movie.

I guess that settles it: Deadpool must be a perfect movie

:smh:

Pretty much this.

If you look at his history of starting threads that's the take home. Obviously he gets some enjoyment out of the process. The trade off is people don't expect him to have serious or thoughtful opinions.

FWIW, as a fellow Cardinals fan I wish he and Ultimate Hog would lose their internet connections but otherwise I don't have a personal antipathy for most of his obsessions.

I'll forever be a FAR better and more dedicated Cardinal fan than you ever will be.

Aren't you the clown that referred to a 'manager' as the 'coach'

Then he succeeded. Deadpool puts a lot of people off. He's super annoying.

But let's get back to the complaints. How does Deadpool go from normal human mercenary one minute to a flip twisting gymnast the next minute? Those gymnast moves would take years to learn. Sure, he becomes a mutant who can heal from anything. But that doesn't explain how he can jump 15 feet into the air and accurately shoot people between the eyes while doing advanced (if not superhuman) gymnastics flips and twists.

Stupid.

One could say that you can't do these things, but you lack the coordination and body and motor control. They take a long time to learn because we have limitations on those features, and most of are not that good.

For someone with "superhuman reflexes," which Deadpool has, jumping, contorting, flipping, etc. could all be much more natural and easy to do.

More like intensely obnoxious for a shorter period of time until something else attracts your interest. I was a fan before you existed. You're more worried about telling everyone else how big a fan you are than you are interested in just enjoying baseball games.

Sounds like you may have had unreachable expectations. That's understandable b/c it did have a ton of hype. I saw it opening weekend spoiler free and I really liked it a lot.

Interesting. I actually am blessed to be able to attend Cardinals games on a regular basis and very much enjoy them. Your little statement stinks of jealousy...

Was probably the best movie I watched from last year.

See, I thought it was a pretty good movie with good humor. But I can't possibly wrap my mind around people (and ive seen quite a few on here) claiming it was the best movie they saw last year

I loved it so much I've forgiven Reynolds for Green Lantern.

but most of the movie it felt like Ryan Reynolds was just trying TOO hard to constantly be funny
I recently watched it a second time and I definitely felt this way. I still like it, but I don't think it will have much staying power for me.

Exactly. It still held my interest enough for me to finish the movie. But I found myself rolling my eyes at Reynolds' dialogue after the first half hour
