Not at all. What I am saying is that the people who "get" Deadpool are those who know not to take it seriously and view it as satire; therefore, when he jumps in the air, spins in slow motion, shoots a bullet through the heads of 3 people, draws a sword and chops off a head prior to landing the viewers who "get" it don't throw their hands in the air saying "THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE."

Deadpool was kind of a paint by numbers superhero movie, they just colored outside lines a little.
Regardless it stayed true to the character a good strategy to follow in comic films.
Also, as far as DP is concerned-there is a chance he's kind of in his own continuity. We really don't know when that takes place with the other Xfilms.

I'd rank it lower than The Avengers,TWS,GoTG,CW,Iron Man,Ant Man,Batman Begins,X2 for sure.
Regardless it stayed true to the character a good strategy to follow in comic films.

I can honestly say I was not overwhelmed with Deadpool either.
I just watched it last week and it had it's moments but I don't get all the hype.
I'm anxious to see if they cross him over with others.
