Just got out of it and really enjoyed it. Best thing Pixar has done in a long while.

Well that's refreshing. There were rumors out there that she'd come out as gay. Glad they decided against that.

It’s pretty explicit even in the original that Riley is straight.

Not sure why everything has to be sexualized. Younger kids in high school look up to the older kids. It isn’t particularly uncommon.

I saw it last night and found it middling.

Anxiety was very well done as a character. They were smart in showing how it can completely take over your emotions under stress.

They missed what made inside out 1 so great; the originality. They tried to copy it and it showed. The silly puns were Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs level dumb and the cast definitely missed having bill hader.

The only part I laughed at was Nostalgia and I did not get any other emotional response they were going for.

6.5/10 I'd say wait for D+

I’ve seen the movie. I don’t think there’s much of wokeness in this movie. My only problem with the movie is I don’t like small children thinking they have anxiety all the time. They also do a lot of work to tie anxiety into a lot of things like fear and more. In the end they do tie it into it actually being a disorder and not an emotion where she has to live with it. In the end it kind of a presents an idea of relativism about no one being good or bad. It’s a not a lot of messages I agree with it but I don’t think it’s really “woke” and will do well. It’s also not terribly made unlike all their other animated movies for the past 7 years. It’s a 8.5/10 movie.

I'll probably take the kids to see it here really soon. Hopefully there aren't any overly depressing parts like the first one

This has a great critic and audience score.

Like I said, I got to see 15 minutes at Disney World two weeks ago and it looked amazing and very well done.

People just can’t handle the fact that Disney put out a great movie.

I’ll also add that this was the most packed I’ve seen a theatre since before covid.

We went at 1:30 on Friday and I usually buy tickets on the way and this time I was shocked to see that there weren’t 4 seats next to each other and there were only about 3 or 4 spots with two tickets together so we had to split up.

Just got out with a bunch of kids. We had a blast. Solid movie, solid plot, good message, no wokeness, no weirdness.

The sort of movies that need to be made.

We took our boys (7 and 4) to see it yesterday. We all enjoyed it a lot. I think I liked it better than the first.

Decided to go last night after what Oml said. If there was wokeness, gay trans shite, etc., I couldn't detect it. Nice to see a movie that's just a movie. It didn't quite capture Pixar's original, but what sequel does? It was still a good, fun, movie.

Especially impressive given how frequently you guys detect it when it isn't even there.

I'm going on a Disney cruise on Monday and am betting this will be showing on the theater. Will try to get in to watch but it's probably going to be packed out.
