Side note: Anybody else notice how many characters have "died" (temporarily) on screen at least twice throughout the MCU Phases:
Loki
Nick Fury
Bucky
Groot
Vision

Did Thanos say that or did he say "Should have aimed for the hand". I could not make it out because there was so much background noise from the preceding moments of awesomeness.

I'd love to hear your list of best villains.

I compared Thanos to Vader because for the first time since Vader I felt like a villain had a strong purpose and desire to go forth to do something extreme because he thought it was the right thing to do to save the world.
They both genuinely loved very important people in their lives, and sacrificed everything to achieve the one true goal.

I don't know what they were saying
They were saying "Yambimbe" (sp). It means "Stand strong".
I thought the charge would be lame when I saw the trailer, but it was awesome as frick. I put it up there with the charge of the Rohirrim in ROTK.

So I got a lot of heat before this movie was released because I said I had no desire to see it and that I was pretty burnt out on Marvel movies, mostly because all the villains were the same.
But that was pretty awesome. I'm glad my wife talked me into going to see this movie.
And it all has to do with Thanos and his motives. Finally a villain with legit motives. Something that has actual purpose other than being wholly evil and wanting to rule the universe. His argument to Gamora about how her world is now after he killed half the population is a moral argument to be had. It's legit.
I guess my one complaint would be that I felt Thanos didn't use the stones as much as he could have, but I understand there needed to be some semblance of belief that the Avengers could beat him.

Not only is it a legitimate moral argument but he saw Titan (his homeworld apparently) fall into chaos and despair as resources dwindled.
He has seen first hand what happens without a culling, therefore Thanos feels by that anecdotal evidence, he has the moral high ground.

There were people legit crying in the theater.
That's just absurd
If Spiderman, one of the three most popular super heroes of all time, telling Tony "i'm not ready to go yet Mr. Stark" doesn't give you the feels, then you've either got no heart, or you simply didn't care one iota about this movie and this saga that's been going on.
It's ok to admit as a man that you have feelings.

My wife cried at the spiderman scene.
And a bunch of people were pissed and yelling that they wanted their money back at the end
A group of black people booed when BP "died"

I gotta give props to the 2 parents behind me that kept their 3 young kids quiet and still for 99% of the movie.

I saw it for the second time yesterday; I had the pleasure of viewing it with a big group of mentally challenged adults. They did not handle it well. Don't think they liked Infinity War

I’m sure it’s been mentioned, but Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight wiping the floor with Vision and Wanda, only to have their asses whooped handily by Cap, Falcon, and Black Widow was one of my only complaints. At the same time, you couldn’t have asked for a better intro for Cap’s return.
